The Cape Weaver (Afrikaans name, Kaapse Wewer) is a common resident in and around waterways of the Western Cape and coastal regions of the Eastern Cape.
The Male is more brightly coloured with a white eye.
The female is a duller colour and has a brown eye.
They build those wonderful woven nests that are normally seen hanging over the water.
