Vervet Monkey At Letaba

These Vervet Monkeys (Afrikaans name, Blou-aap) are all over Letaba. If they’re not fighting over bags of rubbish with the guinea fowl, they’re up in a tree thinking up cunning plans of what to do next.

We took this shot as quickly as we could, in his brief moment of pause.

This guy was hanging around the braai area outside our cottage and managed to get his hands on half a clementine from our meat tray.
