The Chinese Garden Of Friendship

The Chinese Garden of Friendship was our first discovery on arriving in Sydney. Located within the Darling harbour it is a little haven of tranquility, where nature aligns with the sound of water and fills you with a feeling of calmness and peace. What a wonderful way to spend the day.

On entry to the gardens you walk past this wonderful display of bonsai trees.

The layout of the gardens lead you from a little tea house to waterfalls to lush greenery and somehow it all seems perfect.

We spent quite some time here slowly unwrapping the beauty, stillness and a melding with the mind that this special place brings together.

Meander around these gardens and you will feel well in all the goodness this garden has to offer.

Looking out of the teahouse you get a different perspective of the gardens.

The inticacies of design on the pagoda are special.

A bridge carries you over the pond.

The pond is full of golden Koi.

Steps leading up to the Pagoda.

Some lovely Chinese dressed up characters.
