Sydney Park Alexandria

Sydney Park is a 41.6-hectare recreational area in the inner-city area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The parkland is located in the suburb of Alexandria, sitting along the borders with Newtown and Erskineville. Sydney Park is the third largest park in inner-city Sydney.

Sydney park has landscaped gardens, rolling hills, tracks and  pathways leading to picturesque wetlands, we went along to investigate the wetlands part of the park.

The swan’s cygnets were definitely at the ugly duckling stage.

Waterfalls and rivulets filling the wetlands.

In the distance we spotted this Sacred Kingfisher.

On the opposite side we saw this Chestnut Teal having a drink.

The Pacific Black ducklings were looking pretty and cute.
